Union Gospel Mission is a Christ-centered rescue mission whose heart is to love people where they are at, serve them, and share the Gospel with them. They are not just a food bank or shelter--they provide nightly chapel services followed by hot, nutritious meals (and two services/meals on Sundays); they provide food boxes for families and seniors in need; they provide free clothing to women and children; they offer showers to men who come off the street; and more!! They truly love and care about people. I've seen it first hand on plenty of occasions, as I have been a volunteer with my church there for about five or six years. I love what UGM does for people in need, and I will continue to support it for as long as God allows me to.
